Anyone have the time to turn a building into a graphics display using each window as a pixel?
I'm supprised nobody else has posted this, it should be better known. It's an inspiring example of hacker culture that you never hear about.
This one had more pixels, used greyscale, and had better games.
This is my shortened version.

First came Berlin, then in 2002, Project Blinkenlights moved to Paris to put up the "Arcade" installation. I recorded this news report off the high-quality BBC World live video stream (which was freely accessible at the time). It's a little late to be posting this, but interest in Project Blinkenlights has spiked again recently due to the current installation ("Stereoscope") in Toronto.

The front of the Haus des Lehrers aka the biggest digital Display on Earth. Play pong via your mobile or watch the cute animations also 3 km or so away. This sequence was captured with my Samsung ZM60 mobile in late 2005, when the Blinkenlights Installation was revamped for a city lights Festival.
Merry Christmas from "Haus des Lehrers" projected by BLINKEN LIGHTS. Happening during the famous Chaos Communication Congress of the CCC. Different angles of the worldwide first BLINKEN LIGHTS project in Berlins very center.
Music performed by CCC related musisians "Kapelle" from their unknown sessions jamming "Kruder und Dorfmeister". Find the broken pixel ;)

Archivmaterial. Siehe Logfiles. Enjoy.
