The Town Lane area, and Parliament Street in Dukinfield near Manchester are demolished in the early 1970s filmed by Elsie Roscoe. Dukinfield is now part of Tameside. The music is from The Dolly Suite by Gabriel Faure.
George Wain's award winning amateur film, shot around the Gee Cross area of Hyde, Cheshire, about 1947.
Shot on 16mm colour, the film features his young son, one of his daughters and his wife.
